It seems that a homosexual orientation is a personality trait that is very hard, if not impossible, to change. What kind of life do this leave a homosexual person? It is still disputed whether it’s religiously permissable for us to have romantic relations, a traditional married family-life is not attainable, and the choice between hiding one’s homosexuality instead of enduring society’s prejudices and possible scorn is still a very real question for many gay people. Many homosexuals consequently spend years wondering why they are riddled with this a-normal sexuality, and how they possibly can lead a happy, meaningful life with it.
